monopoly

In 2010 C4 did a poll to find the best toys of all time. They also listed games in this section. As a result, Monopoly came in second after LEGO. If Games had a Top 100 all to themselves, Monopoly would have come out top. Which do you think is the best game of all time?

For clarification, a game is something you play, while a toy is something you play with, if that makes sense. E.G. a games console would be a toy, but a video game would be a game. Games tend to have a goal.

I think Scrabble is the best game, which came in at number 7. Other honourable mentions include chess, Jenga, canaster, cribbage, and Crash Bandicoot 2 for thr PS1.
I also like Scrabble and it is the game I play the most currently online.

I used to play Monopoly however that is rather too long and at least online, I can play scrabble whenever I want.

I also play occasionally with a friend of mine who is always in the Australian championships, so Scrabble wins it for me!

There are so many to choose from. I like monolopy, scrabble and trival pursuit
Scrabble is my all time favourite and yet it is so long since I played it.

My husband likes it but since he always plays for sheep stations, I tend not to bother.
Monopoly or Scrabble

I enjoy Chinese Checkers every time.
There's only 3 I've ever really liked. Got them loaded in 'Games' on ITablet!

Chinese Checkers, Scrabble & Dominoes!

Always hated 'Monopoly', as it made no sense to me!
The above! Monopoly & Lego. I received my very 1st Monopoly game at the end of 1959. We still have it now, but its not in the very good condition it was back then! It was in a beautiful gold box, which is rather tatted now. When the tokens started to go missing, we used the little plastic toys from the cereal packets. I think we still have a couple of the original tokens left. This was given to me by my 2 cousins whod finished playing with it. They are 6 & 11 years older than me. i dont think i ever played with Lego, but my brother might have.
And then Scrabble came along. I loved that. My dad would give me a handicap of 30!
