When I'm going to sleep I always snuggle up to my hot water bottle. During the day, I find that nice hot drinks such as herb teas help to keep me cosy. Exercise is also good too, and I always find that a nice brisk walk or a half an hour cycling warms me up.
I like to drink soups. Doing exercise.
A fleece and central heating.
A nice, warm bed with winter duvets.
Cashmere jumpers.
Hot drinks of the healthier kind.
Hot Yoga.

I use a wheat pack (be careful with these, always warm them alongside a cup of water to prevent the wheat from burning) chucked into bed just before I get in. I also find that if my feet are warm, I can tolerate the cold much better. Soups, stews and hearty casseroles are great dinner options, and hot chocolate is always on the menu.

My life changed on Mother's Day. I got a heated throw rug. In 60 seconds, I'm toasty warm on 100 watts of energy (10% of a fan-heater on low). I love my hubbie till death do us part, but I'm sorry love.....you have been replaced.
Tea or coffee when up and doing things, or a nice hot bath before bed.
1.Hot shower on getting up, with warm clothes.
2.Hot herb drinks or warm fruit juice during the day.
3.Keep the heating on low in the house...at a nice warm temp.
4. Electric Blanket on my bed turned up at bedtime....amazing!
A hot soup is a quick fix to shivers.
Exercising and brisk walk is the best option to keep yourself warm and fit.
Tracksuit, Damart sleeveless longline vest, big sloppy joe, beanie, scarf, & furry calf-high boots. And that's just inside the cold wooden-floored, & house!

Food wise: make my own Soups in Crock-Pot.
Roasts, with ALL the trimmings!
Casseroles, with HEAPS of Veggies, with the meat, or Sausages!
Hot chocolate!
Electric Throw-rug, & bed Blanket, too.

Must stay warm wherever I am, as too old to get sick!
