My body clock wakes me so I do not have a "best" way.
If I have to be somewhere early, I will always wake up earlier than normal.
I also do not need an alarm as my dogs sleep on their beds in the same room, and if I am not up by about 6.45 am they will start pestering me and wake me.
However, if it did not, I would have to learn to use the clock radio beside my bed, or I would use my mobile phone which is probably easier to learn.
My alarm is either one of my boys waking up before me in the morning, no alarms necessary. I'd love a lie in one of these days, but having them wake me up is a pretty nice way to start the day. They wake up fully charged, full of smiles and energy and that's a contagious combo.
Usually its one of the alarms that I set myself between 5:45 till 7, at a gap of 15-20 mins each.. but some mornings I wake up earlier than the 1st alarm, set them all off and just cozy up to my partner under the warm quilts..chat up something and come fully awake in a short times.. Those are the best days!
I donít know what the best way is, (to each their own) but I either wake up on my own, or use my small alarm clock from a $2 shop. I only need the alarm, if Iím going to catch a flight, going out for the day, or have arranged to go walking at a set time, with a friend.
