My favourite novel is Wuthering Heights, so I'd have to say Emily Bronte is my favourite author.
Jeffrey Archer and Sidney Sheldon. Its these two who inculcated the love of reading in me. Their books cannot be kept down unless I have chewed till the last page
Apart from me (joking!) I like the works of Jane Austen. As a child Dr Seuss and Paul Jennings were great.
Jodi Picoult. Iread her novels as soon as they are available. I ususally pre-order them, devour them in a few days and eagerly wait for next year's offering.
Thomas Hardy. Set book for Grade XII was 'Far From the Madding Crowd'. I enjoyed it so much his style of writing, character development & background, went onto read rest of his novels! Really enjoyed 'Mayor of Casterbridge'.
Also enjoyed R.F. Delderfield, as well.
