Sweat is pouring off your body, your water is running low and you can’t remember how far you’ve gone or how much of the trail is left. Every hiker has run into trails like these, the ones that never seem to end, and for some reason, you always choose to do them on the worst day of the year. What is the hardest hike you’ve ever done?

The hardest hike?
Well it wasn't a decided hike.....but by the time I had finished it was pure hell!
Picking up my son on foot from school....3 hours after I had broken my little
toe....at home.
A normal 15 min walk, turned into 1 full hour, with a walking stick.
There was no one I could call, being a single mum....and my other two son's were at work.....The 'hike' from Hell!
Somewhere in the Blue Mountains...some steep inclines.
I've never gone hiking. The hardest hike I can say that I've done is when I have overburdened myself with shopping on a hot day, and have had a hilly street to climb.
In my teens, joined a Bushwalking Club. Good idea, to have a hike organised with others'.
My longest hike was at Barrington Tops NP, did a 25 klms walk through beautiful forest & scrub. Can't remember my head hitting pillow that night!
