What is your favourite childrens book to read to either your children or grand kids?

Children (14)      Books (7)      Grand children (1)

Our son and daughter-in-law had twin boys almost two years ago and they love us reading them books. So much so that sometimes I have to read the same book a number of times in a row.

They do have a couple of favourites. They are Thomas the Tank Engine and Pepper Pigs Grandad comes to visit.

Our two kids liked Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and Alice in Wonderland.

We read them about five to six books every time we look after them.

I don't have any kids, but I do remember the books my mum used to read to me. My favourites were 'Each Peach Pear Plum', 'Where's Spot?', 'Guess How Much I Love You', 'Little Grey Rabbit', Winnie the Pooh books, and Beatrix Potter.
The twins also have plenty of "Where's Spot" books as well. They just love those pop up ones.
We have twin grandsons and my wife found s book called double trouble. A great book to read the twins
It's a toss up between Dr Seuss's Fox in Socks and Green Eggs and Ham. But I also love, as do the grankids, the Hairy McCleary series.
I don't have any kids as I am only 20, but I think I will be reading "guess how much I love you" frequently as it was a favourite for both my mum and I
