I don't stand out at any particular sport. I'm either rubbish or average. I was quite good at hockey at school, but inly as a very casual game.
Ones that don't involve balls! I'm much better at scuba diving.
I used to play basketball when I was in school.
Do video games count? Scrap that, I'm not good at those either!

I used to be quite good at tennis but nowadays the only sport I do is walking, if you can call that a sport.

I was good at netball, my joints have had it now though
Excelled at Swimming, Tennis, Ball Games, Basketball (now called Netball), Marching, Athletics.

Played Inter School in all these.

Was Senior (School) Swimming Champion & also Open Swimming Champion, both, TWO years in a row, & House & School Swim Captain.

Then changed schools' & added High Jump & Hurdling.
And on the weekend played Tennis all Saturday afternoon & went Horse Riding all day Sunday!
I held a 50m Breastroke Swimming record for 14 years! Set it when I was 13!

So, yeah, I was particularly good at Swimming! Loved it, still do!
Any sport in which I competed, I was fortunate enough to excel. Just one of those 'sporty' kids! I consider myself very fortunate to have been able to do all this!

Basketball and netball are two differenr things.
Thanks, Bryony, I'm WELL aware of that! That's the way things are NOW!

But in AUSTRALIA, in the '60's, what is NOW called Netball WAS called Basketball!

Your petty go at me was not only stupid, but makes you look a fool, & very jealous!
I'm NOT stupid; I KNOW what I, repeat, I, played in the '60's. You weren't on the field, were you, so you haven't any idea & DON'T know!

You don't live in Australia, do you?
