Eddie Vedder live

The early ‘90s was a time of angst and power chords, a time where plaid ruled and bands like Nirvana, Pearl Jam and Soundgarden were kings. Almost every teenager picked up a guitar and learned to play at least a little, dreaming of being on stage. Now those albums are becoming classics, which one stayed with you throughout the years?

Pearl Jam's Ten, and Vs have both stayed with me. Every time I hear them, it brings me back, not to a specific memory but just a general feeling that reminds me of being young. Still, if I had to pick one album it wouldn't be either, it would be Purple by Stone Temple Pilots. There is something about that album, something about where I was in life when I found that album, Purple is just the album for me.
I didn't listen to grunge in the 90s (too young), but I Blue October is a band I love now, and they were formed in 1995.
Mudhoney, Pavement, Sonic Youth, Buffalo Tom, Chunk, Swervedriver, Leatherface, PJ Harvey... the list is endless - so much great music and so many great memories...
Pearl Jam
